* BS/MS Electrical Engineering.
* Minimum 5 years of experience in related discipline beyond BS degree (Product development experience a must).
* Experience in power supply design (DC-DC, AC-DC) and micro-processor based systems.
* Experience with board, bill of materials and Gerber file creation and component selection
* Good communication skills in both Chinese and English.
Desired:
* LED or optoelectronics design knowledge a plus.
*Background in total quality system and manufacturing experience preferred.
Lighting industry experience a plus.
* Highly motivated, with excellent teamwork and international project collaboration.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Electrical design activities in a market driven, fast-paced LED product development environment.
* Accountable for product design to specification
* Participate in defining product specifications, Design Failure Modes and Effects Analysis, Design Freeze, Design Validation, Product & Process Qualification
* Work with marketing & sales team to Interface with customers regarding Voice of the Customer input
* Work with Quality, Manufacturing and Procurement Teams in interfacing with suppliers.
* Develop expertise in Electrical Product Safety Standards and apply to product design.
* Work with well with team members in shared resource Multi-tasking environment.
* Demonstrating technical depth in dynamic LED Industry environment
