PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Electrical design and process development activities in a market driven fast-paced LED product development environment.
* Participate in defining product specifications, Design Failure Modes and Effects Analysis, Design Freeze, Design Validation, Product & Process Qualification
*Develop manufacturing processes in with assembly processing engineer team
* Apply Electronics manufacturing disciplines within a electronics manufacturing facility and develop design guidelines for electronics in lighting; Provide design feasibility input for lighting electronics
* Work with Lighting PD group to integrate electronics into solid state lighting products, Capture electronic requirements based on lamp designs
* Design and process FMEA pertaining to electronics
* Engage suppliers for production LED devices, LED arrays and circuit module ensure they meet requirements of OEM
* Specify/Develop Interconnects for lamps, ensure interconnects scheme is lamp compatible and reliable, substrate selection for LED锟斤拷s arrays, interconnects for LED arrays, jumpers, flex cables, FFC, connector, etc
* Set technical direction for lighting electronics testing and audit and review supplier testing of lighting electronics.
QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS:
BSEE/MSEE degree (BSME/MSME applicable)
3 - 5 years of electronics design/manufacturing and launch experience of Electronics product
Experience of Electronic Devices, Circuit board manufacturing processes and OEM testing procedure, Knowledge of Lamp manufacturing processes
Capable of working in a multi-disciplinary group of Optics, Mechanicals and Electronics; Capable of capturing Electrical requirements for lamps based on optics/mechanical requirements
Ability to conduct failure analysis on electronic devices or modules
Good communication skills, written skills in English |
