| 职位描述： | IV. MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES
The primary responsibility is to provide Finishing Plant support across all aspects of Instrument and Control Engineering. This is achieved via Projects and Plant Support through working as within a team of disciplines Engineers. The main functions / roles are:- * Finishing Plant Instrument Engineering Authority * Measurement and Control Design Authority * Maintain Finishing Plant instrument * New Technology Awareness / Evaluation ? From Instrument section to support and ensure the safe, secure, and efficient use of distributed control systems (DCS) and programmable logic controllers (PLC) for process control and data acquisition ? Ensuring the design of systems complements and supports global and site progress towards World Class Manufacturing goals. ? Promoting the use of DCS and PLC capabilities to improve quality and efficiency in manufacturing work together with DCS engineer. Other key responsibilities are to: * Maintain compliance of all work to relevant Company and International Standards (particularly Safety Standards and legislative requirements). * Advise line management on organisational issues which are being continuously affected by the rapid changes in Inst & Control Technology. * Closely monitor the ‘Quality‘ of equipment and services provided by vendors /contractors. This involves the leadership / participation in formal and informal DC / Vendor monitoring teams. * Identify and implement continuous improvements in applied technology and working methods - particularly in Finishing Plant Engineering/maintenance. ? Be aware of and recommend new applications and technology improvements to enhance manufacturing methods and efficiency. ? Involve Finishing Plant PCR to be expert to validate the project QUALIFICATIONS & ADDITIONAL INFORMATION ? The successful candidate will be expected to has an Instrument background in Chemical industry with very strong experience & knowledge. The successful applicant for this position will be expected to have very good people skills, will have the ability to read English Documentation of engineering data and will write simple English report. A stringent focus on both safety & quality will be expected from the incumbent in this role. ? Knowledge of mechanical engineering principles associated with range of plant in Basic unit. A level of process appreciation of the unit. ? Minimum 15 years experience in chemical industry. ? A level of computer literacy. ? Ability to interpret/produce engineering drawings and manufacturers design/maintenance books. ? In-depth knowledge of some/all following – instrument pneumatic device working principle, interlock, PLC, hydro-transfer device, electrical drawing, process control, DCS, measurement, valve technologies, loop control, bypass process and procedure, test methodology, etc ? Awareness of safety and I.H. issues and codes/legislation. PREFERABLE INDUSTRIES & COMPETITORS ? Chemical /Petro-chemical industries. |
